Initially established under the moniker of Atlantic Avenue Garden center in the early 1980’s, we underwent a renaming and revamping in 2017, blossoming into the Atlantic Gardening Company nursery, garden center and plant lover’s paradise that exists today. From our humble beginnings, we have grown to be known for our outstanding selection of plants and have developed a national reputation as a major innovator in the gardening industry - which has recently garnered us the distinction of one of the Best Garden Centers in America, and Southern Living rated us among the Best Garden Centers in the South in March 2020! We are the only nationally ranked garden center in Raleigh, and are consistently featured throughout various community publications and spotlights.
